JAWOLL
Jawoll - tried and tested a million times and for many years a sock classic - including reinforcement yarns for heels and toes to extend the life of your socks! LANGYARNS JAWOLL is the Rolls Royce of sock yarns. The wool comes from Corriedale sheep: for JAWOLL we only use wool of the finest origin from Chilean Patagonia. During shearing, the best parts of the hide are selected and sorted. The average thickness, the diameter of the fiber, is only 25 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 mm) so the wool feels very soft and is very comfortable to wear. Corriedale sheep live year-round in the natural wilderness of Patagonia. Due to the scarce supply of food, their wool remains white and grows to an average pile length of 10 cm. This means that the wool dyes well, the colors are brilliant and the finished yarn is very resistant to pilling (knot formation). Each 50g skein contains a spool of reinforcing yarn that can be knitted in to reinforce heels and toes. This extends the life of your socks. Thanks to the high quality of the fibres, JAWOLL is also excellent for baby and toddler knitting as well as men's knitting.
