TERMS OF PURCHASE 


PAYMENT SOLUTIONS
Elvelykkan Design offers the following payment solutions:
Klarna
Card payment
Paypal (fee applies) 
Swish (only for Swedish customers)
Zettle payment link (used when we handle orders manually within Sweden)
MyPos payment link (used when we handle orders manually outside Sweden)

Elvelykkan Design takes payment in connection with the order. Depending on which payment solution you choose, Elvelyckan Design or its partners may make a credit report. Elvelykkan Design reserves the right not to always offer all payment methods and to change payment methods. 

Additional orders are sent when payment is received. If you receive a payment link for an additional order, please use it as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays to your order.

SHIPPING SOLUTIONS
Elvelykkan Design uses DHL Express, DHL Freight and Postnord.

Factors affecting shipping options and price are the following: destination, dimensions, weight, volume weight (if bulky), combined shipping, delivery to door or agent, remote location and delivery speed.

Elvelykkan Design reserves the right to change the price and shipping option if the above factors influence that the shipping option chosen is not possible or if the price for shipping increases, due to multiple orders are shipped together.

Elvelykkan Design is not responsible for delays due to the shipping supplier. The indicated transport times are approximate and apply in the normal case. Elvelykkan Design does not guarantee that the shipping provider can meet the specified time frame.

Sweden
Postnord goods letter SEK 53 up to 2 kg. If the weight exceeds 2 kg, the package is redirected to DHL.
Postnord home delivery 158-298 sec depending on the weight of the package. This shipping option cannot be selected in our free shipping offer. 
DHL trackable package to agent SEK 65.
Delivery time 1-3 days within Sweden for goods in stock. Delayed delivery time may occur during promotions and sales.

PRINT ON DEMAND

Print on demand is not included in free shipping. When buying from the web shop, both shipping costs are combined. Print on demand delivery time approx. 7 days

COMBINED SHIPPING
Elvelykkan Design cannot guarantee that combined shipping is possible. If you choose combined shipping, you must enter the order number of your previous order in the message box. If we cannot find your previous order, combined shipping cannot be used, and we cannot send your later order.

Combined shipping is only possible if your previous order has not been shipped, and if you have a previous order with paid shipping to send the later order together with. If your previous order has already been shipped, or if there is a missing previous order, we cannot ship the later order. If this happens, we will contact you via email and send you a payment link for shipping. 

It is not possible for two buyers with separate orders to use joint shipping together. 

For shipments that are based on weight, combined shipping may increase the shipping cost. In that case, Elvelykkan Design will charge the customer for this.

It is not possible to use joint shipping and combine orders from both the wholesale and the private customer shop. In cases where a wholesale customer also wants to shop from the private shop, two separate orders are sent.

We do not ship orders until shipping is paid. We always try to contact you via email and offer a payment link. If we do not receive a response to our contact attempts, your order will be canceled after 30 days and the order will be refunded. We do not ship orders without shipping being correct, so please respond promptly to avoid delays.

INCORRECT SHIPPING
It happens from time to time that there is a wrong shipping option. Contact us at info@elvelyckandesign.com if it happens to be wrong, we will help you. 

If something goes wrong with the shipping, for example combined shipping is selected and there is no previous order to combine shipping with, we will contact you. If we do not receive a response to our contact attempts, your order will be canceled after 30 days and the order will be refunded. We do not ship orders without shipping being correct, so please respond promptly to avoid delays.


VAT, CUSTOMS AND COURIER CHARGES
EU countries
The prices in the webshop may vary depending on the VAT rate for goods in the respective EU country from which the customer purchases. In Sweden, there is 25% VAT on fabric, sewing accessories and sewing machines and 6% VAT on sewing patterns. No extra costs in the form of VAT, customs or courier fees are added.

Non-EU countries within Europe*
All purchases are VAT-free. Please check with the customs office in your country what charges may occur in the form of duty and VAT when the package arrives. DHL Express usually charges a fee for handling your package at customs of around SEK 150-300.

*Purchases from the UK under 135 GBP are exceptional cases and will be canceled as Elvelyckan Design are not VAT registered in the UK and therefore cannot distribute the order.

The rest of the world
All purchases are VAT-free. Please check with the Customs Administration in your country which charges may occur in the form of duty and VAT when the package arrives. DHL Express usually charges a fee for handling your package at customs of around SEK 150-300.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Right of withdrawal is valid for 14 days and the withdrawal period is counted from the day you received the delivery. The item needs to be unused and undamaged for Elvelyckan Design to be able to refund the full amount. If the product is affected by e.g. washed or damaged in any way this will affect the amount refunded. The buyer also needs to present a receipt or other proof of purchase, e.g. order number.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping and must contact us at info@elvelyckandesign.com and inform about the return. We are happy to help book return shipping within Sweden, then contact us at info@elvelyckandesign.com. A return shipping note currently costs SEK 65, this may change if the shipping fee from the shipping provider changes. Unfortunately, we cannot assist with this outside of Sweden.

Do not let the package go into automatic return, as this entails an administrative fee of SEK 149, which will be deducted from the sum paid back. The administrative fee is based on the additional costs we receive for automatic returns.

Avoid joint shipping of returns from different orders as this entails increased administration for us.

Elvelykkan Design does not accept returns that are sent to agents or cash on delivery.

When we have received the return and checked the condition of the item, the order value minus any return shipping will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the return. If the item is damaged or affected, there is a reduction in value, which affects the amount paid back. 

In the case of a full return of an unaffected order, the full amount is refunded. If the right of withdrawal is used for only part of an order and this affects the conditions for free shipping so that these are no longer met, the amount paid back will be adjusted down by 1 shipping amount, currently SEK 65.

EXCEPTION FROM THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Digital goods that are sent immediately after payment, e.g. pdf files, are exempted from the right of withdrawal as the product due to its nature cannot be recalled once it has been sent.

Tickets for events and courses are exempt from the right of cancellation.

CANCEL NOT SHIPPED ORDER
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@elvelyckandesign.com. If your order has already been sent, it cannot be cancelled. If your order is already on its way to you, please see more information under the heading "Right of withdrawal".

For orders that have been paid via Paypal and are canceled, Elvelyckan Design charges a fee of 10% of the order's value due to fees from PayPal in connection with the order. The remaining order amount is refunded via Paypal. For other payment solutions, the sum is refunded via the respective payment solution. 


INCORRECT CUSTOMER DETAILS AND UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES
It is extremely important that you as a customer enter the correct address and correct contact details. Incorrect address may result in packages not being delivered and incorrect contact details may mean you do not receive delivery notifications. This, in turn, can result in the package being sent back to us.

If you discover errors in your contact details, e.g. incorrect phone number, email address or postal code, contact Elvelyckan Design as soon as possible. Orders already shipped cannot be corrected, but we can help you with tracking numbers and see where your package is.

When a package is returned because it has not been delivered and this is due to incorrect contact details, we contact you as a customer. You can then choose to have the package sent again or to cancel your order. 

The package can be sent again when new shipping and an administrative fee of SEK 149 have been paid, and any inaccuracies in the contact details have been adjusted. The administrative fee covers the extra costs that an automatic return entails.

In case of cancellation of the order, we will refund the order value minus an administrative fee of SEK 149. The administrative fee covers the extra costs that an automatic return entails. Reimbursement is made via gift card or your payment solution. 

If you want to cancel your purchase, do not let it go into automatic return by not picking it up, but read under the heading "Right of cancellation" to avoid extra charges.

BEFORE CUTTING OR WASHING 
Please inspect the fabric carefully upon receipt. If you find any errors, contact us at info@elvelyckandesign.com. If the right of withdrawal is exercised on goods that have been cut or washed, the amount refunded is reduced. For complaints about faulty goods, read more under the heading "Complaint".

Follow the washing recommendations for the respective fabric quality. Elvelykkan Design is not responsible for discoloration or other defects if the washing recommendations have not been followed.

LICENSED FABRICS 
All fabrics in Elvelykkan's own design come with permission to sell finished products on a smaller scale.

Some of the fabrics are not of our own design, for example the Pippi collection. These fabrics come with a license and have restrictions. It is not allowed to sell products from these fabrics. If a fabric comes with a license, it is stated in the description of the respective fabric and on the edge of the fabric. We ask you to please respect the restrictions.

COLOR DEVIATIONS
Color deviation may occur due to pressure engineering reasons. Elvelykkan Design cannot therefore guarantee that fabric of the same design or color will look exactly the same from print to print.

Elvelykkan Design cannot guarantee that the images in the webshop reflect the exact real appearance of the product.

COMPLAINT 
If you wish to advertise an item, please contact us at info@elvelyckandesign.com with the following information:

In the event of a complaint where Elvelyckan Design AB has made a mistake, Elvelyckan Design is responsible for any return shipping.

MINIMUM CUT
Minimum cut on fabrics in Elvelyckan Designs webshop is 30 cm unless otherwise stated in the product description.

TERMS OF CUT&SEW PATTERNS
Our patterns are available as pdf with digital download and as printed patterns with description and pattern map. All patterns, images, texts and instructions are protected by copyright law. It is not permitted to share designs or descriptions with others in either physical or digital form. This also applies to free patterns. Refer friends to purchase their own patterns or download their own copies of free patterns from our website. 

Pdf patterns may not be resold. Pdf patterns also cannot be canceled after purchase as they are inherently non-advertisable. Printed patterns may be resold if you destroy all drawings of the pattern and do not keep parts of the pattern or instructions. 

You are allowed to sell garments made from this pattern, if you are the one who has both bought the pattern and sewn the garments. It is not permitted to transfer the pattern to another party. 

Special rules apply to schools. Contact us if you have questions and work within the school. Do you want to organize a workshop or hold a course with one of our designs? Contact us at: info@elvelyckandesign.com.

These conditions apply even if you bought our designs through a retailer.

SERVICE AND REPAIR OF SEWING MACHINE, OVERLOCK AND COVERSTITCH
Elvelykkan Design only services and repairs machines purchased from us. All machines are serviced for SEK 990/machine ex. shipping. If the machine is to be sent, a shipping fee is added, the service then costs SEK 1,290 including shipping.

The service usually takes 5-8 working days including shipping to and from Elvelyckan. Additional time is added for troubleshooting and repair. 

 

When troubleshooting, the customer is contacted for a price proposal prior to repair. For errors not covered by the warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping if the machine is to be sent. For matters covered by the guarantee, Elvelyckan is responsible for shipping and any additional costs.

 

Elvelyckan Design is not responsible for errors due to incorrect handling by the customer or for errors not covered by the warranty. If such errors are noted during service, you will be contacted for a price proposal to correct the errors.

STOCK ERRORS AND OUT-OF-SOLD ITEMS
Elvelyckan Design reserves itself for possible stock errors and out-of-stock items.

If an item is sold out and comes back into stock, it may lead to delayed delivery or partial delivery. Which solution it will be depends on how long it takes to get the item back in, as well as where the item is to be sent. If it takes longer than 1 week, we will send an email and inform about this.

If an item is sold out and discontinued in our assortment, it may lead to us deleting the item from the order and refunding the amount within 2-5 banking days. The remaining goods on the order will then be sent. If we have an equivalent product, it may replace the discontinued product.

RESERVATION
Elvelykkan Design reserves the right to any printing errors, price changes, out-of-stock items, force majeure and currency changes.

GIFT CARD
Gift cards at Elvelyckan Design are digital products and come via email. When purchasing gift cards in the webshop and physical store, the gift cards can only be used in the respective store from which they were purchased. For example, it is not possible to use a gift card purchased in the webshop in our physical store because there are separate gift card and checkout systems that do not cooperate with each other. 

The gift card is sent when payment is registered with Elvelyckan Design. For fastest processing of the gift card, please choose a direct payment such as card or Swish. Gift cards paid with Klarna have a longer processing time. 

Contact customer service if your gift card has not appeared within 2-3 days. Check your junk folder on your email before contacting customer service, just in case it ended up there.


THE BUYER
The buyer must be of legal age or have a guardian's permission to order from Elvelyckan Design.
